From Helpdesk to Project Engineer: Navigating the IT Landscape

Early Career: Helpdesk Engineer

My journey in the IT realm commenced as a 1st line helpdesk engineer, where I honed my skills by assisting customers with a spectrum of desktop and laptop issues. This included troubleshooting outlook problems, resolving office-related issues, and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Transitioning to 2nd line helpdesk, I took on more server-centric responsibilities, including Active Directory management, user and server administration, hardware and software issue diagnosis, and enterprise service and support. My expertise expanded to cover Office 365 management, network device configuration, Windows server installation, and more.

Senior Network Engineer: Navigating the Complexities

Elevating my role to a Senior Network Engineer, I delved into the intricacies of networking. From Azure network solutions to firewall management (Fortinet, Sonicwall, Cisco), router management, and VPN configurations, I ensured the security and efficiency of network infrastructures. Networking design, monitoring, and active participation in the Network Change Approval Board (CAB) became integral aspects of my role.

Project Engineer: Designing, Implementing, and Supporting

My journey culminated as a Project Engineer, where I led projects encompassing networking migrations, improvements, and changes. I worked closely with clients to design, implement, and support their network solutions, fostering positive transformations.
